Avalose podi or Avilose podi (roasted rice powder) is a nostalgic Kerala snack recipe, made with roasted rice powder & grated coconut that can be used to prepare Avilose unda (a sweet dish). Avalose unda is used in Kerala as a snack. This is best in combination with bananas. This is a healthy snack as there is no frying included (oil free snack). Our home made treats are prepared by selected and experienced women members in our network.
