Neem Cake

Neem cake is an organic fertilizer that is composed of various micro and macronutrients. Neem cake is the residue produced after crushing the neem kernels for neem oil. It can be used both as a fertilizer and a pesticide. This fertilizer can be added directly to the soil or by fermenting in water. Neem cake is rich in elements like phosphorus, calcium and nitrogen which is good to increase soil fertility, better growth and productivity in agricultural crops. It is also rich in micronutrients such as magnesium and zinc. Adding neem cake powder to the potting mix prepared for cultivation and applying it as crop manure at regular intervals helps in pest control and accelerates overall plant growth.
